Dr. Sawhney is a Professor & Head of Microbiology with over 16 years of academic experience in dental/medical colleges of India. He has worked as Professor of Microbiology, HU, FDRE (East Africa). He has to his credit over 20 publications in form of research papers, review articles, and book chapter. He has published a book on antibacterial activity of some medicinal plants. Author has isolated and identified couple of bacterial cultures, now deposited with MTCC, Institute of Microbial Technology and NCIM, National Chemical Laboratory, Pune. He has submitted one gene sequence to GenBank, USA under accession to NCBI.
