He has done his BDS & MDS from King Georges Medical University, Lucknow. He has been honored as gold and silver medalist in his graduation and also awarded several national and international fellowships for his excellences in oral and maxillofacial surgery, such as WHO Fellow-Switzerland, AO Fellow-University Hospital Zurich, Switzerland, T.C.White Fellowship-U.K., Basic AO Training, DAVOS-Switzerland. He has also done different courses and training from AO-Bone Plating System (Maxillofacial course) at DAVOS, Switzerland, AO-CMF Course at Bangaluru. The name of the book is Understanding Oral Oncology: Current Challenges & Future Conquests. The book is illustrated with several clinical photographs of oral cancer and precancer those collected from Indian clinical settings. The book also includes the research results of collaborative studies to reveal the fatal consequences (Oral Precancer, cancer) of the cases that had tobacco habits. Importantly, in the book, the concept of Oral cancer development, its forms, consequences, risk factors, has been incorporated.
