Book Overview

Having taught Medical Biochemistry for over 18 years at University level made me observe that students usually took PowerPoint slides of my lectures and bound them into notes for revision especially during exams. This made me conceive the idea of publishing my lecture notes into a book that could easily and cheaply be accessed by the students. This is not a new concept given that my Professors both at Kings College, London and Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, UK used to disseminate lecture notes in the same format. Lecture notes in Medical Biochemistry was compiled from many sources of biochemistry material especially google and wikipedia for which I greatly acknowledge. Lecture notes in Medical Biochemistry remains a single author text for uniformity. The layout is based on course outlines for biochemistry in the Universities that I have taught.
